I have practiced different physical activities for years, but since I learned about vinyasa yoga, nothing has interested me that much.
The energy flowing within me, as in a conscious dance, changed not only the relationship with my body, almost more with my mind and my emotions. It has helped me in the most difficult moments of my life, giving me perspective and recognizing my inner and outer being as a temple. It involves continuous learning and the mat has become my place of peace.
So, a teacher training was the natural evolution of my practice for 5 years as a student; I needed to delve into history, philosophy and, of course, current adaptations more focused on biomechanics or mindfulness, among others, which add to this ancient but synergistic discipline some physiological and cognitive bases without subtracting its transcendental purpose.
